Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the gravity-concepts.com website and any design, print, web development, or hosting services you engage from Gravity Concepts. By using our website or contracting our services, you agree to these terms in full.

01

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Gravity Concepts website, requesting a quote, or engaging any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or engage our services.

These terms apply to all clients, visitors, and anyone who interacts with Gravity Concepts in the context of a service engagement — whether initiated via our website, WhatsApp, email, phone, or in person. For international clients, these terms apply in addition to any project-specific agreements made in writing.

02

Services provided

Gravity Concepts is a full-service creative and technology studio offering the following core service verticals:

  • Graphic Design — brand identity, logos, social media visuals, flyers, posters, and marketing materials
  • Print Design & Production — business cards, banners, brochures, stickers, roll-ups, and print-ready production coordination
  • Web Design & Development — custom websites, landing pages, and web applications built with modern frameworks including Next.js and React; no WordPress, no page builders
  • Hosting, Maintenance & Management — website hosting, performance monitoring, security updates, content changes, and ongoing technical support

The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for each engagement are confirmed in writing before work begins. We reserve the right to decline any project that conflicts with our values, technical capabilities, or studio capacity at the time of enquiry.

03

Project engagement & scope

All projects begin with a scoping conversation to establish your goals, requirements, and deliverables. A written quote is then provided based on the agreed scope. Work commences after you confirm the quote and the required deposit is received.

Any changes to the agreed scope — including additional pages, new design directions, expanded feature sets, additional print quantities, or new service requirements — constitute a scope change. Scope changes will be communicated and agreed in writing before they are executed and may affect both timeline and price.

Gravity Concepts does not proceed on verbal agreements alone for new scope. All material changes to a project brief require written confirmation from the client before work begins on the updated scope.

04

Payments & pricing

All pricing is quoted per project or engagement based on scope, complexity, and timeline. Prices are communicated in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise agreed for international clients.

  • Deposits: A deposit — typically 50% of the agreed project fee or a confirmed amount — is required before work commences. The exact deposit amount is specified in your quote.
  • Final payment: The remaining balance is due before final file delivery, website launch, or print dispatch — unless a specific milestone payment schedule has been agreed in writing.
  • Scope change billing: Additional revision rounds or scope additions beyond what was agreed will be quoted and confirmed before proceeding.
  • Late payments: Work may be paused or delivery withheld if outstanding payments are not received within the agreed period. Gravity Concepts reserves the right to cancel an engagement if payment terms are materially breached.
  • Third-party costs: Domain registration, hosting plans, paid fonts, stock photography, paid plugins, or print production costs may be quoted separately unless explicitly included in your package.

Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced, except in cases where Gravity Concepts has failed to deliver the agreed service after reasonable notice and opportunity to remedy. Billing questions should be directed to contactgravityconcepts@gmail.com.

05

Revisions & approvals

Each project includes an agreed number of revision rounds, communicated at the start of the engagement. A revision is defined as changes that fall within the original agreed scope and creative direction — not a change of concept, brand direction, or significant new requirements, which constitute a scope change.

Client approval is required at key milestones — for example, initial concept approval, draft sign-off before final delivery. Once a deliverable is approved by the client, it is considered final. Requests for changes after final approval will be quoted as a new scope item.

For print projects, the client bears full responsibility for reviewing and approving all print-ready files — including all text, phone numbers, addresses, prices, colours, and dimensions — before files are sent to production. Gravity Concepts is not liable for errors in content that were present in client-approved files prior to printing.

06

Delivery & timelines

Project timelines are estimated at the start of each engagement based on scope, complexity, and current studio capacity. We communicate delivery expectations clearly and provide updates throughout the project.

Timelines are contingent on timely provision of required materials, content, feedback, and approvals from the client. Delays caused by late client responses — including feedback, content submission, file delivery, or payment milestones — may push back the agreed delivery date. Gravity Concepts is not liable for timeline overruns caused by delays on the client's side.

Urgent or expedited delivery may be accommodated subject to studio capacity and may attract an additional expedited fee, confirmed in writing before work begins.

07

Intellectual property

Upon receipt of full payment for a completed project, all agreed deliverables and the intellectual property rights in those deliverables are transferred to the client for their intended use.

Until full payment is received, all work produced by Gravity Concepts — including concepts, drafts, source files, and final deliverables — remains the intellectual property of Gravity Concepts. Clients may not use, publish, reproduce, distribute, or display any deliverable before full payment is received and confirmed.

Gravity Concepts retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio, on social media, and in marketing materials unless the client explicitly requests confidentiality in writing before the project begins. We will always credit the work as a Gravity Concepts project.

Clients warrant that any content, images, brand assets, or materials provided to Gravity Concepts for use in a project are owned by them or properly licensed for the intended use. Gravity Concepts is not liable for intellectual property infringement arising from client-supplied materials.

08

Client responsibilities

Exceptional output requires a functional working relationship. To enable Gravity Concepts to deliver on time and to the highest standard, clients are responsible for:

  • Providing clear, complete, and accurate project briefs, reference materials, brand assets, and content before work begins
  • Responding to questions, draft reviews, revision requests, and approval checkpoints within agreed or reasonable timeframes
  • Ensuring that all content and materials provided are accurate, legally owned or licensed, and do not infringe third-party rights
  • Providing consolidated feedback per revision stage — not successive individual change requests submitted after each other
  • Making payments according to the agreed schedule
  • Designating a single primary point of contact for the project to avoid conflicting instructions

Failure to fulfil these responsibilities in a timely or reasonable manner may affect delivery timelines and does not constitute grounds for a refund or dispute against Gravity Concepts.

10

Hosting & maintenance

Where Gravity Concepts provides hosting, maintenance, or website management services, the specific terms — including scope of coverage, response times, update frequency, and recurring fees — are agreed separately at the start of the hosting or maintenance engagement, in writing.

We aim to maintain maximum uptime for hosted websites. However, we do not guarantee 100% uptime due to factors beyond our direct control, including third-party hosting infrastructure outages, scheduled maintenance windows, or force majeure events. We will communicate planned downtime in advance wherever practicable.

Gravity Concepts is not liable for data loss, security breaches, or downtime caused by third-party hosting infrastructure failures, client-initiated changes outside our management scope, or external attacks that bypass reasonable security measures.

11

Website use & conduct

By accessing gravity-concepts.com, you agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict or inhibit their use of the site. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its underlying systems
  • Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material
  • Use the site in any way that could damage, overload, or impair its performance
  • Reproduce, republish, or redistribute any content from this website without written permission
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting Gravity Concepts

We reserve the right to restrict access to the website or block any user who violates these terms or engages in abusive conduct toward studio personnel.

12

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Nigerian law, Gravity Concepts' total liability for any claim arising out of or related to a service engagement shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for that specific engagement.

Gravity Concepts is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including loss of revenue, profits, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or reputational damage — arising from the use or inability to use our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our services are provided in good faith based on the information and materials supplied by the client. Gravity Concepts is not responsible for outcomes resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information provided by the client, or from client decisions made independently of our recommendations.

13

Termination

Either party may terminate a project engagement by providing written notice to the other. In the event of client-initiated termination:

  • Any deposit paid is non-refundable where work has already commenced
  • Work completed up to the point of termination will be invoiced at a pro-rata rate based on the agreed project fee and the proportion of work delivered
  • Final deliverables and source files will only be transferred to the client upon receipt of any outstanding balance owed

In the event of studio-initiated termination due to client breach of these terms — including non-payment, abusive conduct toward studio personnel, or provision of unlawful or infringing materials — Gravity Concepts reserves the right to cease work immediately without liability. Any amounts paid for work not yet delivered will be assessed at our discretion, less the value of work already completed.

14

Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms or a service engagement with Gravity Concepts shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Anambra State, Nigeria, unless otherwise agreed in writing between the parties.

For international clients, we encourage resolution of disputes through direct communication and good-faith negotiation before any formal proceedings. Nothing in this clause limits either party's right to seek urgent injunctive relief through the appropriate courts.

15

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Material changes will be communicated to active clients where reasonably practicable.

Continued use of our website or services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
